Wow!
It's amazing how fast time flies...
Its Friday once again and later tonight... bazaar, midnight sale, bars, restaurants etc. will be filled by peeps just like you and me to savour the start of the weekend.
Imagine! A week had already passed, yet I could still hear the "ooohhs and ahhhs!" from the Space Shuttle ride at The Enchanted Kingdom last Saturday.
...I truly missed my last visit there with BI and the Honda Mightys, that I would have to stop myself from reminiscing... *hahaha! senti!*
Last Saturday also (rigtht after the tiring events at EK) I went straight to Whistlestop Restaurant and Bar located at Shangri-la Plaza Mall where they serve American, Asian, Filipino, and Thai cuisines *namnam*
Its my first time to dine there and dudes, I tell you its cool!
What was the place like? -- Its a Restaurant, Café Bar and Music Bar rolled into one.
BUT! That's not the question...
The question is...
Why would I dine there anyways?
The answer...
DALE IBAY a friend had a GIG that night. Since I already saw him perform before, I thought its worth to spend the whole evening and sing along with the 'original songs' from his newly released album "CARPE DIEM... SOMEDAY" (yezzz Mightys! That's the title of the album and man, I'm stunned to learn about it last Sept 11 during the launching *a-huh*)
The gig was ohh sooo cool that diners sang along with their requested songs on stage. What made it more FUN was when a group of people came in (to celebrate a birthday -- mid 30s) and started to request songs such as "foot loose", "crazy for you" and the likes... *hahaha* so great!
I slept tired, but with a SMILE on my face. Yeah, I know I look funny then. *tee-hee-hee*
By the way, visit daleibay.com to know more about him and his MUSIC. His album is now available, check it-out at Tower Records, Music One, Odyssey, and Mag:net.
If you love ACOUSTIC, then this one's for you!
